In addition to any complication associated with arthroscopy, the items listed below are possible negative effects of a Menaflex implantation:
- Transient or permanent nerve damage due to pressure or haematoma.
- Complications associated with arthroscopic suturing technique.
- Wound haematoma and slow wound-healing.
- Cardiovascular diseases, including venous thrombosis, pulmonary embolism and cardiac arrest.
- Pain.
- Restricted freedom of movement.
