The SharpShooter® Tissue Repair System is a simple, easy-to-use method for repairing the meniscus via the inside-out suture technique. The system includes a unique method to deliver sutures using a patented delivery handle and a series of six anatomic cannulae to reach all areas of the meniscus.

The SharpShooter was initially designed specifically for use with the Menaflex procedure. However, due to its unique method of delivering sutures, ease of use, consistency, and speed it quickly became a standard for use in meniscus repair surgery as well.

After more than five years, the tissue appears stable and virtually unchanged since the initial relook. This tissue is durable, and most importantly, it appears to function similarly to native meniscus tissue and continues to be chondro-protective of the articular cartilage surfaces in the medial compartment.
