ReGen Biologics Launches European Website

CMI™ Information now Available On-line in French, German, Italian, and Spanish

FRANKLIN LAKES, NJ -- September 30, 2005 -- ReGen Biologics, Inc. (OTC:RGBI), an orthopedic products company that develops, manufactures, and markets innovative tissue growth and repair products for the U.S. and global markets, announced today that the company has successfully expanded its corporate website to better serve physicians and patients in European markets where the ReGen CMI is marketed.

The CMI is a type I collagen implant designed to facilitate growth of new tissue to replace removed or missing meniscus tissue in the human knee.

Commenting on the launch, Gerald E. Bisbee, Jr., Ph.D., Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ReGen Biologics, stated, “This is another milestone for ReGen as we further our plans to commercialize the CMI in Europe.  The European market represents an excellent sampling of the global market potential for the CMI with over 250,000 meniscal procedures performed last year, accounting for an estimated 15% of the worldwide CMI market.”  Bisbee continued, “The launch of the translated websites augments our current marketing efforts in these regions, such as the newly initiated physician education campaigns, designed to raise levels of awareness and bring additional surgeon interest to the product.”
